Become a Volunteer Campaigner with the YMCA of the Triangle and be a part of the Changemaker Team that will strengthen our community. Together, we can improve health outcomes, support education, strengthen families and develop changemakers. Four steps to becoming a YMCA philanthropic volunteer: 1) Say Yes! Join a team at the YMCA and help raise funds for the Annual Campaign. 2) Learn more. Attend a training to learn about how the Y strengthens the foundations of our community. 3) Give a gift. Make your own donation to the YMCA Annual Campaign. 4) Get a gift. Invite a friend or family member to invest in the YMCA Annual Campaign.

A strong community is a connected community, and the Y is dedicated to facilitating connections between people, places and services to address our region’s most pressing social issues. From increasing food security and closing educational opportunity gaps to combatting loneliness and social isolation, the Y understands the core of a strong, diverse, vibrant, equitable and inclusive community comes from everyone’s desire to connect, belong, to help others and to contribute. With an intentional focus on four critical areas, our Y maximizes its on-the-ground presence and network of sustainable resources to meet the needs of our neighbors. The Annual Campaign gives us the capacity to connect, support and serve more than 20,000 children, teens, families, adults and seniors each year with programs and services that make our community stronger — that allow individuals the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.
