Regional Family Food Distribution-YMCA of the Triangle

The YMCA of the Triangle is partnering with Wake County to provide regional food hubs for meal distribution for families in Wake County. Volunteers are needed at The Poole Family YMCA, The YMCA at Knightdale Station and The Southeast Raleigh YMCA. Volunteers will assist the Regional Food Hub staff coordinator with food delivery to sites and/or food distribution to families at sites. Volunteers will assist in creating a warm, welcoming, nurturing atmosphere for all community participants. Volunteers under 12 years may participate when accompanied by an adult volunteer. All volunteers should be able to answer ‘no’ to all questions on the COVID-19 Prescreening Assessment. Volunteers will complete all required credentials before reporting to their first day of service, complete a COVID-19 health screening daily and wear a non-exhalation valve/vent face covering throughout their volunteer shift.
