Alexander Family YMCA
As a Summer Day Camp Volunteer, you’ll play a key role in creating a fun, safe, and inclusive environment for campers. Working alongside YMCA staff and youth counselors, you’ll help supervise activities, support campers as they try new things, and contribute to the positive, energetic atmosphere of camp. Responsibilities may include: -Assisting YMCA staff with group supervision during games, crafts, and sports -Engaging with campers in a friendly, encouraging manner -Helping set up and clean up activity areas -Supporting daily routines and transitions between activities -Modeling YMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility Alexander camp volunteers are needed at the following camp locations. You will email the program contact to set up which camp you will be volunteering with: Camp Skyline - Wiley Elementary Camp Blazing Trails - Lake Johnson Wee Camp - Pullen Baptist Church Camp Excel - Ligon Middle School
