A.E. Finley YMCA
We invite families with children ages 5–12 to participate in this meaningful service opportunity. Volunteers will assist in sorting and organizing donated school supplies collected by YMCA branches throughout July and August. These contributions will support the WakeEd Partnership’s Tools 4 Schools program, a resource that provides local educators with essential classroom supplies at no cost, thereby reducing the financial burden on teachers and ensuring students are prepared to succeed. 📅 Date: August 22 🕚 Time: 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM 📍 Location: O'Herron Room This initiative offers a valuable opportunity for children to engage in community service and witness the direct impact of their contributions. Tasks include the sorting, organizing, and packing of supplies. Please note that a parent or guardian must be present and volunteer alongside their child for the duration of the event. We look forward to working together to ensure our local students begin the school year fully equipped for success.
