The Access Desk is the first contact our members have with the YMCA when they visit. Members are welcomed in an eager, warm and hospitable manner as they scan their card to access the facility, choose a locker and receive a towel. The Access Desk Assistant will contribute to the experience by greeting members in a voice that is nurturing, genuine, hopeful, determined and welcoming. They will help retrieve locker keys for members and fold towels while maintaining a neat work space. Responsibilities set at the discretion of the Welcome Center Coordinator. Volunteers must be able to answer 'no' to all questions on the COVID - 19 Prescreening Assessment. Volunteers will complete all required credentials before reporting to their first day of service, complete a COVID 19 health screening daily before volunteering and wear a non-exhalation valve/ vent face covering throughout their volunteer shift.
