YMCA of the Triangle

YMCA Camp Kanata is located on 150 acres in North Carolina, just north of Raleigh, N.C. Camp Kanata is a traditional, coed, overnight summer camp for kids ages 6 – 15. We offer traditional overnight camp activities, such as archery, hiking, swimming, creative arts, and water activities on our 15-acre lake. Camp Kanata offers traditional overnight camp in one-week sessions, a traditional summer day camp in one-week sessions and several overnight weekend camps throughout the fall and spring. We are an affordable, flexible camp and financial assistance is available thanks to our Annual Campaign. Volunteers are needed on Opening Day and Closing Day to welcome campers and direct families around camp. Volunteers can expect to share in the Camp spirit while directing families and answering questions.
