YMCA Camp Kanata

Be part of the CAMP MAGIC at YMCA Camp Kanata, located Wake Forest, just north of Raleigh. YMCA Camp Kanata is a traditional, coed, overnight and day camp for kids ages 6 – 15. We offer traditional camp activities, such as archery, hiking, swimming, creative arts, and water activities on our 15-acre lake. Our volunteer opportunities are a wonderful way to reconnect, give back, meet new people, and help create unforgettable experiences for campers and families alike. Help welcome excited campers and families during Check-In Days, help say 'See you next summer...' on Closing Days, assist Kanata staff in the Gear Store, greet returning friends and alumni at the Alumni Welcome Table, or support meaningful initiatives at our Philanthropy Tables. Every role plays an important part in creating the warm, spirited, and welcoming camp community we cherish.
